Mihai Moiceanu is a name familiar to any Romanian photo enthusiast. He discovered the camera in his teens and now, 40 years later, he is still absorbed by it. Moiceanu’s engineering back-ground has made him a scrupulous photographer with a fine understanding of photo techniques. His images are flawless windows to the grandeur of unspoiled nature or the people close to it. And to find them, Moiceanu is in an endless journey, from the Danube’s Delta to Himalaya, from Maramures to Patagonia, from Retezat to Vietnam and back to… Viscri.

The workshop in Viscri is designed to be comfortably paced and to offer you a well balanced mix of theoretical presentations, shooting sessions, open discussions around participants’ photos and post processing workflow. In addition, those of you who would like feel the thrill of watching the brown bear or the boar in the wild will have the opportunity to do it.
